What's this doing on RFS? I'll explain: Do you care what they do? I for one, strongly can't get over how ridiculous that whole clan is, how they flaunt their dysfunction and their wealth, how they have people following them, and I still cannot for the life of me figure out why they are so famous and popular. But obviously, they are, and there's a market. But, it doesn't affect my life (other than the fact that I am irritated by the debacle). So, the same question comes up: Why do the (just using this example) the "non-Kardashians" care so much about what other people are doing if it doesn't involve them, doesn't affect their life, doesn't represent their life or affect how they live their life or spend their money or express themselves? This is an attempt to make a correlation just for the sake of discussion. I still have mixed emotions, but it occurred to me that when I read about people bitching about other people's beliefs or their lifestyles and who they want to marry,....what does it have to do with you (any more than what the Kardashians have to do with the rest of the world who may disagree with what makes them 'them,' but.....has absolutely nothing to do with us). I#d rather boil my testicles then feed them to a rabid squirrel than pay any attention to these pointless cretins.

I don't like them because last year my Houston Rockets suffered Kardashian curse. Good of James Harden to get rid of that Kardashian girl as this year my Rockets are wining lots of matches and Harden will win MVP. Harden won't win MVP. Dont you get annoyed at watching him fall to the ground every time he gets anywhere near another player? He should have won the MVP that year but lost because the people voting for MVP are complete idiots who don't give single vote to someone as good as Brad Stevens and vote an average person like Casey as coach of the year. Still they did well last year. Westbrook is a stat hoarder.

Not proud to say it, but I'm more invested in Monsanto than I am in Kardashian.

I think the Kardashian clan reflects most everything that secular society should be. They are proud, confident, and inclusive of all races, religions, & orientations (I mean Caitlyn Jenner is a transexual lesbian conservative Republican for crying out loud!). Plus they are living the American dream, truly entrepreneurial, put family first, & take a lot of crap without flinching. They are far from being famous for doing nothing. People care about them because they are truly interesting and at least in one way or another, reflect experiences that a lot of people go through even if they can't offer a solution to it. Unlike a lot of people pretending that they think like this, the Kardashians truly do have a you be you attitude on life and if them being a bit self centered because people are fascinated by them, then that's a small price to pay. That said, would I like to know them? Nope. But I don't want to get to know most people. Do I watch their show? Not much. However, when I do, it is the best show of it's type which is defintiely faint praise. Year and a half later, this is all still true!

Bunch of pointless talentless disgraces who are nothing but a bad influence on teenage girls and society in general.

there's a large segment of american society that is enamored by all things ridiculously stupid. at one point in time, the national enquirer was the largest read publication here in the states. and don't forget there's a segment of society that believes in aliens and ufo thing-a-mabobs.
and i'm guessing that a lot of women secretly like the idea of having lips the size of the hindenburg.

I have never even accidentally stumbled upon a Kardashian program, and have no idea where or when to watch to run into one. I'm quite fine with that.

One of the things I prefer about chat is that stuff is gone after the moment. I think it has content benefits. Unfortunately everyone else decided they preferred message boards to chat rooms. :-(

As attention whores, the clan would be SOL if the rest of the nation had as little interest in them as I do.

James Harden is better westbrook. It's still true after 1 and whatever years. And he is still awful to watch. I guess he will become even more for you since NBA cleared his new flashy moves that purists wouldn't like. They say he should be booked for traveling.
So what exactly do you think about James Harden? Are you also one of the James Harden haters who deny his greatness?
