So did I understand correctly - this huge thing is engulfing part of the state park and they call "chemical spill" and there's no one around to know any different? Are you kidding me right now? News crews would be on the scene. People don't spot it from airplanes? Boats out on the water? I couldn't take the movie seriously after this.
No characters I cared one little bit about.

Fascinating concept, mysterious, very unique and original, keeps you guessing, a true breath of fresh air when it comes to sci fi films
Cons
The great concept, deep mystery, but no explanation given movies/tv shows are getting a bit old now...in most of these cases, no explanation is given simply because they can't think of a good one

I think that 1 of the "PROS" for the Movie is Natalie Portman.
I really liked her in it.

Portman's performance , the bear monster or whatever the fuck that was and definitely the scene at the lighthouse . trippy as hell
Cons
can't think of much cause I really loved this film . perhaps the guitar music used for a bit when they were hiking (felt kinda out of place)

Pros:
The concept of things blending together in the zone is interesting.
Generally likable cast, good performance by Portman.
Cons:
A bit passionless.
Some story ideas seemed to die on the vine.
It's basically a ripoff of 'Solaris' (1972).
