The first few episodes from The Leftovers feel rough, they really feel like the shows attempting to find its footing before it ascended to greatness.

In Desperate Housewives the writers not keeping track of past story arcs (ignoring something that happened, acting as if something happened that never did). Also the constant story arc of Tom being presented as a poor hen pecked husband who never gets his way and Lynette was a controlling shrew. He was basically passive aggressive and pouted until he got his way almost every time he and Lynette wanted something different and she'd cave out of guilt. It's like the writers were telling us to feel sorry for him, but I couldn't see what to pity since he had it way too good.

they cut Lois's hair in the third season of Lois and Clark and they added like 15 years on Lois.
they got rid of the first jimmy on Lois and Clark.
they killed off Tasha Yar in Star trek. I know denise was miserable but they could have made her character more relatable. more homey.
I am glad they finally installed a heart in JR ewing but they waited until the last season to do it.
they turned knots landing into a teenage bs drama.
they made Michael mancini a cheating douchebag in Melrose place.

Janice Soprano....Legit i am hesitant to rewatch the series because i hate her character so much. She never really gets her comeuppance either. Theres not really a moment where she gets her ass kicked that i can look forward to. She just kinda meanders along and annoys the ever loving piss out of me at every turn.

-DEXTER'S LAB: An episode ends with the Earth exploding and all DEXTER and MANDARK do is argue about who's to blame. I know: That's the joke. However, they don't care that their loved ones died? It felt like it went against the logic and style of humour that the show had created by that point. -DIGIMON: Almost all the seasons handle the romances badly. I get it: The characters are usually kids... but then don't have any romance at all. It's not needed. -FRIENDS: RACHEL let ROSS break up with BONNIE and then told him that she wasn't sure if she was ready to get back together with him. -LOST: Throughout the final season, many characters who had been built up as very important died in anticlimactic ways. -MODERN FAMILY: LILY and JOE's grown up dialogues are supposed to be cute but they tend to feel forced. -SOUTH PARK: Some jokes are mean-spirited without a real purpose and they don't even feel clever (peeing on apes and giving them bananas, KYLE & BUTTER shooting the "wizard alien", etc...). -SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS: Jokes against SQUIDWARD when they become too cruel.

I hate love triangles when they drag on too long, or one person is deliberately trashed to make the rival look good, ex: Dean on the Gilmore Girls.

I forgot CHARMED. I hated how they handled the COLE character. He was a demon who turned good. Then he was possessed by evil against his will, yet he was treated as a villain until he died. Sure, he got a small redemption in his final episode, but he was still treated as someone who chose to become evil again (PIPER says those exact words).

In Dexter I hated how pretty much everyone was a killer.

When a character who is charmingly naive is portrayed as an idiot: Rose on The Golden Girls.
When a character who enjoys "highbrow" culture is portrayed as a ridiculous snob: Charles Winchester III on MASH (in one episode, he complains about the meals in the mess tent because "they don't even chill the salad forks!" C'mon).
When a show runs for several years, the characters become more and more ridiculous and cartoonish--many of Garry Marshall's shows: The Odd Couple survived this, but Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley were unwatchable after the first few seasons.
Any "very special" episode.

LOST: All the hitting people in the head to knock them out cliche crap. Most of the characters should have gotten brain damage or died due to blunt force trauma
BREAKING BAD: The decision to end the series in a very safe and predictable manner, something which was very unlike the show. (even though it was still great)
BETTER CALL SAUL: Alpine Shepherd Boy
GAME OF THRONES: The decision to ruin the show with season 7
THE WALKING DEAD: The decision to ruin the show with season 9
PRISON BREAK: The decision to make a very short and mediocre season 5
24: Too much of the same/lack of fresh ideas in the later seasons/revivals
SEINFELD: The characters acting out of character in The Invitations and the Finale
THE SOPRANOS: Never changing the footage to the opening titles
EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS: The terrible series finale final scene
ROME: It getting cancelled
TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES: It getting cancelled
THE OFFICE (UK): Ending way too soon
THE OFFICE (US): Ending way too late

WTF? That was the best part of the show. Don't tell me you're one of those idiots who totally misunderstood the ending and thought "they were dead the whole time" ?

-LOST: Throughout the final season, many characters who had been built up as very important died in anticlimactic ways. Huh? Definitely wasn't many. I can only think of 2.
Sayid and Ilana, right? I agree there. Was not a fan of those deaths.
The other deaths were very impactful and emotional.

The Simpsons - that it's still active.
LOST - Kate after S1.
Cheers - Frasier.
The X-Files - relocating from Vancouver to LA for filming, show never recovered.

Would have LOVED to have gotten into Downton Abbey but they kept on killing off the nice people.
