Yeah too much stuff is coming out too quick. Unfortunately Phase 4 has been a very mixed bag.
Since Shang Chi, just a little over a year ago there's been six movies, four movies and (soon) two TV specials.
And how many of them have been that great really? I liked Shang Chi, Spider-Man was fantastic, Hawkeye was entertaining and that's about it. I haven't seen Black Panther 2 yet but it's not much really.

It’s that it’s all garbage. No one would complain that there is too many if it were good.

As others say I think it may be more fatigue on the part of the studio making the product moreso than with general audiences at the moment. But the two points are obviously connected. As the product takes a dip or becomes run of the mill then audiences will associate it with such.
They've released 7 movies, a holiday special and 8 tv shows just in the last 2 calendar years. 16 projects in 24 months. That's a ton of content, and personally Ive enjoyed almost all of it, but at the same time they've lost the aura of an MCU release. It's just not that big a deal when a new one comes out every 3 months, especially when theres not an obvious connecting point like the Infinity War on the horizon. Also because the shows and movies are so overtly connected, people expect the shows to be on the same quality as the films and to be honest, they have not been.
You don't lose a fan base the MCU has overnight and it's way too early to begin crying the end of times like many clickbait youtubers are apt to claim.
