They'll make it back easily with movies like Dumbo, Episode 9, etc.

I'm sure they'll be fine. Disney will be fine, Kathleen Kennedy and her SJW minions won't. That's the important thing.

SOLO A STAR WARS STORY. How much will Disney lose on this thing? 200 million? $50-$80 million according to the Hollywood Reporter.

If the rumors are true, it's big enough to cost Kathleen Kennedy her job.

Pretty sure Wrinkle in Time has it beat. Perhaps, but Solo's budget was more than twice that of A Wrinkle in Time. Solo is certainly the most high-profile flop and something of a disaster - but, as already noted, Disney will recover quickly with Mary Poppins 2 etc.

SOLO A STAR WARS STORY. How much will Disney lose on this thing? 200 million? Movie gross so far +315 million
original budget -250 million reshoot costs -200 million advertising costs -100 million Theatres' take of the profits -200 million
By my calculations they will lose 450 million.

Not sure where you got those numbers, these are from Variety: "Analysts project “Solo” could end its run with approximately $400 million to $450 million in revenues, a dreadful result for a film that cost $250 million to produce and $150 million to promote."

Their numbers are way off. It's a much bigger disaster than variety claims it is by a number of 300 million.

Kathleen Kennedy thought she could say "I'm not interested in catering to male Star Wars fans" and get away with it. Those male fans funded Star Wars for FORTY years. How stupid could she possibly be? It's Star Wars not "Twilight!"

Your calculations are way off. 250 million was including reshoots.

Yes they did Solo was not supposed to be the most expensive SW movie ever and none of them has cost 250-275 million.
