The Beast of Yucca Flats. painful to watch, so bad it's awful. Only finished watching it because I wanted to get my $5 worth (on sale).

I thought The Invasion was OK, nothing special but hardly worst horror movie ever.

Philosophy of a Knife (2008). Pretentious Russian torture porn unfortunately based on WWII historical fact. Four hours and nine minutes of unrelenting boredom-- except for a bit with cockroaches at the two hour mark. Watch Men Behind the Sun (1988) instead. Second place: upload

According to my IMDb/Letterboxd ratings, these three horror films are rated my worst;
The Howling: New Moon Rising (1995) Reel Horror (1985) Return of the Boogeyman (1994)

Leprechaun 4: Leprechaun in Space. Yes, I rented it. I was drunk. Some people drunk dial or text. I make unfortunate movie rental purchases.

Captivity (2007)
Just worthless. Gross, dull, poorly filmed. Just inept on every level. Also a complete waste of Elisha Cuthbert.

Captivity (2007) Just worthless. Gross, dull, poorly filmed. Just inept on every level. Also a complete waste of Elisha Cuthbert. Yeah, that was definitely terrible. I wouldn't consider it among the worst simply because, while it is completely inept, it's really just bland rather than aggressively horrible like some others. Even with the supposed shocking and controversial elements, it's really just boring and shitty. It reminds me, very much, of a movie called The Tortured from 2010. Both have adequate actors in their cast and an aspiration to be a shocking torture porn kind of movie, but both drown in just bad filmmaking. They both feel very much like some executive came in later and recut everything to have a music video montage approach rather than any actual focus on a story or characters.

I think Leprechaun in Space is definitely the worst of the original franchise. Still not sure it's worst ever.
Captivity was bad but passable.
The Clown Murders (1976) is pretty hard to sit through, it's so bad.

Manos: The Hands of Fate...on the other hand it did make for a great episode of MST3K.

Monster a Go-Go (1965). Any movie directed by BOTH Bill Rebane and Herschell Gordon Lewis is in deep trouble. (Infamous ringing telephone effect.)
