Best youtube comment from some user who joked about it being a prequel to Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland.

This kind of historical picture do anything at the box office nowadays? Doubtful. The King's Speech did make $400M worldwide. But that was eight years ago. That godawful ROBIN HOOD movie that Scott did the same year made money too I believe. Really, unless there's a director (Tarantino, Nolan, Hooper) with a following or a big enough hook behind it these days (PT Barnum as a musical, based off a bestseller, etc.) people don't go to these types of movies anymore and that's a shame.

Scott's Robin Hood was so bad. No energy. Dreary.

Really, I'm just more intrigued by Outlaw King at this point.

I love historical movies, I love Margot Robbie and I love Saoirse Ronan, so the movie will make at the very least CAD$13.50 in the Montreal box office.

I can`t help getting annoyed that they are showing Mary and Elizabeth meeting. This of course never happened in real life Mary Queen of Scots and Elizabeth 1 never met face to face in their lifetime.. Yes i know its a movie and not a documentary but i can`t help getting annoyed with historical inaccuracies.

Robbie is horribly miscast here. They should've reversed the roles, or better yet, not had Margot Robbie in the film.
