How do you know though? It's not stated that he was single.
Historical documents could've left out that he had a spouse.
What clues would there be that he's married? Why not bring up other things the Bible doesn't mention? Like one of his brothers could have been named Rufus Hambone Or he had 6 toes. Since Jesus was perfect, he smelled like boiled cabbage.

In 1 Corinthians 9:4,5 Paul is arguing some point by saying, "Don’t we have the right to food and drink? Don’t we have the right to take a believing wife along with us, as do the other apostles and the Lord’s brothers and Cephas?" If citing those marriages helped Paul make his point (whatever it was), then pointing at Jesus' marriage would have proved it beyond any doubt. The fact that Paul doesn't mention any such marriage is evidence that there was none that he could include in his argument.

I don't see why it matters either way. It wouldn't change His message. But it almost seems to me it was so common for a first century Jewish man of His age to be married it would have been noteworthy to mention if He wasn't more so than if He was.
