I didn't like The Crunge much for years. But once I learned it was kind of a joke based on James Brown's style, I see it in a different light now. I can understand why a lot of people don't like it. It's a weird song.
I was never a big fan of D'yer Mak'er.

Seems to be a large number of people who dislike one or the other. I hate The Crunge - James Brown or not, love D'yer Mak'er. But I love reggae, including most white reggae.

D'yer Maker is easier to listen to and enjoy, but The Crunge is the better song.

D'yer Mak'er is one of my favorite LZ songs instrumentally. As long as I like the instrumentals, I can usually forgive half assed lyrics.
