It looks almost exactly like Wolfenstein. Change the name of the main character and I would totally take this as a Wolfenstein movie.

That's what exactly I was thinking. It's a wonder that we hadn't gotten a film adaptation yet. I think in the right hands like GDT or Sam Raimi, it'd be pretty cool.

It’s funny because it was just a few years ago that they were restarting the Wolfenstein movie after the original director was jailed,but nothing came of it. I think if i’m correct Paramount does have the rights to a Wolfenstein movie,but I could be wrong. Also I always thought GDT would be better for a Silent Hill movie. Although I thoroughly enjoyed the first Silent Hill movie. |

Actually it would be pretty cool if the title screen was at the end of the movie and the full title was: Overlord: A Wolfenstein story. Imagine how many gamers would totally shut their pants if they saw that.

It's along with time travel (=> Nazi-Alien-lizard people in Enterprise) the laziest way of writing, and in this case only to push a political agenda. If you want an alternate universe, than you can also have an other fascist regime. Why Germany and Nazis then?! Why not a Liberia like in Equilibrium, why the re-writing of history? |
