driving
used to be a privilege
awarded to those
who could
actually concentrate
beyond
a phone screen and breath
at the same time.

those days ended long ago
but where do
these punks get off
thinking
that it's now
two cars per stop sign.
will
their inner child
have a nervous tantrum
until
the double flipped latte
is refilled
each time they have to wait
their turn in line.
