Ither than an act of god? Nothing. They will never be able to make a good movie thats better than Marvel. Its just what they are. They will always be trashy pantera hodge podge of meaningless uninspired bloated heavy mass. Thats just how it is.

Give it to the people who did that DC cinematic with the giant woman falling into the building and Lex Luthor stuffing kryptonite into Wonder Woman's mouth to trap Superman. That is how they should do it. And Marvel should follow the Ultimate Alliance one: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yjd005kHYDg

In order to out-do Marvel Studios, Marvel themselves have to produce a series of notable critical and/or commercial failures in which they gradually lose their fanbase and fatigue sets in. Whereas, DC has to produce their own string of viable superhero films. If both studios do well, then, it works out for mostly all superhero and comic book fans hopefully without saturating the market.

Go back in time and redo the DCEU to follow the same of path the MCU took.

Something different. Take five from the main lineup to do something offbeat and weird like Swamp Thing or a proper Jonah Hex. Spielberg's Blackhawk is a good start. If it happens.

The question should be "What will it take for MCU to outdo DC?" Because DC has already outdone MCU. The Dark Knight Trilogy is the greatest superhero trilogy ever and MCU hasn't made anything that even comes close. Just look at the best superhero movies by decade:
1970s - Superman: The Movie 1980s - Superman II 1990s - Batman Returns 2000s - The Dark Knight 2010s - Wonder Woman
It's a clean sweep for DC!

DC also gave us the worst 1980s - Superman IV or Supergirl...(if you insist the Salkind productions are DC films) 1990s - Steel...or Batman & Robin 2000s - Catwoman 2010s - Suicide Squad

Outdo it at what? Making generic cash grabs? I suppose by rushing them out even faster than MCU does.

Uh last time I checked DC can still claim TDK trilogy . Disney/MCU still has yet to make any trilogy that can match that imo .

there is one thing that can save DC now...……………………….WONDER TWINS THE MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! seriously though i'd much rather see a Hawkman/Hawkgirl Movie or Martian Manhunter Movie instead of SHAZAM whoever thought SHAZAM was the perfect option for a shared superhero universe? im gonna repeat something I saw on another message board "DC purposely tries to make their movies fail just so they can continue shoving Batman and Superman movies down our throat" I loved Wonder Woman and im eagerly awaiting Aquaman . but seriously if SHAZAM is their next best candidate then they might as well stick with Batman and Superman as their only movies

Easy. Focus on their female superheroes. It is the one area they have always beaten Marvel in with comic book sales and 'Wonder Woman' and I have no doubt 'Wonder Woman 2', 'Batgirl' and 'Birds of Prey' will be more successful than 'Aquaman' and 'Shazam' 'cause much like 'Wonder Woman' I know a LOT of people who will be going to see those movies who don't watch today's superhero movies much like my Aunt who saw 'Wonder Woman' 'cause she loved the Lynda Carter show and has been waiting to see a 'Batgirl' movie since Yvonne Craig played her in the Adam West 'Batman' show. When you change over to female superheroes that is where Marvel really has problems 'cause DC has Wonder Woman, Supergirl (both Kara Zor-El and Linda Danvers), Batgirl, Zatanna, Black Canary, Raven, Starfire, Caitlin Fairchild, The Huntress, Batwoman, Black Orchid, Power Girl, Wonder Girl (Donna and Cassie), Catwoman, Bombshells, Vixen, Voodoo, Zealot, Hawkgirl, Stargirl, Saturn Girl, Lady Blackhawk, Sarah Rainmaker, Misfit, The Spoiler, Orphan, Bluebird, Strix, Starling etc etc while Marvel on the other hand don't have a large lineup of female superheroes that have had their own series like DC and can't even use their second biggest selling one.
If 'Wonder Woman 2' is a hit and 'Aquaman' and 'Shazam' flop Warner Bros should put full focus on female superheroes and do something completely different like adapt the Wildstorm Universe with Gen 13, Wild Cats and Stormwatch. We already have two former Wildstorm titles getting movies now ('Danger Girl' and 'Strangers In Paradise') and if Warner Bros were to partner with the creators of those movies they could make them parts of the Wildstorm Universe again. Adapt the Wildstorm Universe and put Jim Lee 100 percent in charge of the writing.

Hmmm maybe. I think it would be cool if they did a Frank Miller dark knight series with the female Robin, an old batman, now with the 3rd comic book sequel that just came out, with superman's daughter and the invasion of the other kryptonian, and wonder woman with her little baby backpack. But big budget live action of course.
