There are many, but I'll just go with the ending to The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Perfection incarnate.

Blow Out (1981) - I think a very underrated film Heaven Can Wait (1978) - this ending always confused me because, well, is Joe Pendleton no longer around since he lost all memory of being Joe? Magic (1978) - strange film Magnum Force (1973) - Dirty Harry at his best Sleepaway Camp (1983) - I watched this on Youtube a few years ago and I am glad I never watched it as a kid, it has the kind of ending that can really do some damage with kids Three Days of the Condor (1975) - not seen yet but picked up a copy of this (in a two pack with All the President's Men)

That New Hope scene is kinda stupid where they're all standing there like dorks. Casablanca. Good choice

Gone With The Wind (1939) Dark Victory (1939) Bonnie and Clyde(1967) Casablanca (1942) Splendor in the Grass (1961) Dark Victory has a Great ending. When Bette felt like seriously acting, she was sensational.

I believe it's still Joe's soul, but possessing Tom's memories. The soul of Tom Jarrett (the quarterback whose body he now occupies) should be in Heaven, as it was his time to die. Perhaps Joe's memories are removed to make the transition into life as "Tom" easier, and Joe's own memories will be restored once he returns to Heaven at the correct time? At the end, Betty and Joe are soul mates, so the two still feel a connection?

It just didn't make any sense to me that Joe would have a new body but lose all his memories that made him Joe in the first place.
At any rate, I thought it a very entertaining film.

The Silence of the Lambs - Hannibal's closing line followed by his long walk behind Chilton to the ominous music while the end credits roll.

It's difficult just to name one, but I'll go with Toy Story 3's. The perfect conclusion to any trilogy.

Treasure of the Sierra Madre
"It's a great joke played on us by the Lord, or fate, or nature, whatever you prefer. But whoever or whatever played it certainly had a sense of humor! The gold has gone back to where we found it!"
