There are 3 differing tones to MCU movies relatively speaking A) Dialogue and plot heavy driven movies with sporadic humour thats not cheesy and compelling villains, likes of Iron man 1, Civil War and Winter Soldier B) Full on comedies with lots of kiddy humour and lighthearted minimal stakes like GotG, Antman and Ragnarok C) A middle ground between the 2, some drama involved but also a good amount of cheesy laughs and quips with lots of BATHOS humour. Like Age of Ultron, Doctor Strange and Avengers So what style do people want the first Disney xmen to be or do they not care and would settle for any Guardians of the Galaxy or The Avengers is the closest we've gotten to a good X-Men movie so far.

Mostly A but for some of the more grand storylines I would go with C.

Anything will be better than what Fox has done with them. Truth. Fox has wasted the plethora of rich characters available to them. They definitely failed with some of the characters. But they definitely got Wolverine right with Hugh Jackman. And Patrick Stewart as Professor X was mostly a good choice.

Yes but why?
You don't fit into the group being asked a question so why try and force your input when no one was asking for it?
It's an actual question to take make it easy to take a rwad of what the average MCU fans opinion is, your input or that of DC-Fan or Summer8 or whoever else who hates the MCU doesn't matter because you are not the ones being asked the question, if it were a general "What do you want the MCU X-Men to be" then fair enough or "What do non MCU fans want the MCU X-Men films to be like" then especially yes it's open for your opinions but this isn't.
As for my thoughts as a fan of the MCU, XCU and Worlds of DC...hate that name...I want the tone to fit the characters, I don't want comedy with Wolverine but I don't want dark and gritty with Kitty either, shape the films around the characters, the world is not all one thing or another so why should the movie universes, also continuity for the love of god lets get some fucking continuity going with these things for once.

The average MCU movie falls in category A anyway. IM, IM2, IH, Thor, CATFA, Thor TDW, IM3, TWS, CW, BP, IW... they are all variations of category A. So most likely the X-men movies will have a similar tone. True dat. IM3 was pretty dark in subject matter. You've got to have some relief from that during the movie though. The best Fox X-men movies did that too. Anything from Logan quipping about the "yellow spandex" to flipping Cyclops off with his middle claw. Seems pretty logical to go with the average MCU "tone". Winter Soldier would be perfect. The main thing is to finally develop some of the great X-men characters not named Logan, Charles Xavior, and Magneto. I seriously can't wait to finally see a proper Cyclops, Storm, Jean Grey, Rogue, Nightcrawler, etc onscreen.

Don't get me wrong, I like Jackman's Wolverine as much as the next guy, but movie Wolverine is a completely different character from comic Wolverine.

I like Marvel and X men my input is needed No it's not, your input means shit, same with mine or any single one of us, only as a collective is our opinion worth shit really, also you maybe a Marvel & X-Men fan but you are not an MCU fan so again you do NOT fit into the collective being asked this question, so your opinion means less here than it normally would, simply because you don't even fit the criteria for this question.
just because you like Marvel doesn't make yo a MCU fan, im a Star Trek & Star Wars fan but I am not a Discovery or Last Jedi fan, also saying you are an X-Men and Marvel fan seems redundant X-Men are marvel by default you fit into the grander fandom of Marvel in some form.

If there is marvel discussion im needed no matter what Not really as you never seem to discuss anything you simply repeat a handful of preprogrammed phrases such as "Kat Dennings would have been better", Kat Dennings is curvier" "I Like mature CBM's", theres not much discussion in simply repeating phrases, I mean DC-Fan atleast stumbles into valid discussions at times atleast, sure 99% of the time he's batshit cray cray but you know occasionally he isn't the nut he just finds one, your just banana's...but I share in the KD love, Kat Dennings for Rogue or Jean Grey whichever will allow for more cleavage.

A Joss Whedon/James Gunn/Sam Raimi tone would be perfect for X-Men. The Bryan Singer/Christopher Nolan approach does not work at all in my opinion.

I don't think it's that it doesn't work but that that's what we have had for these characters for 20 years, this is a fresh slate so try something different, and also if the pay off is an Avengers style mashup of them and the rest of the MCU it cannot be to different from the MCU because it needs to exist in the MCU, unless they do a multiverse story in which case, ok then sounds interesting.

the bryan singer/nolan tone are already superior to the mcu comedy tone. this tone fits the x-men comics.
