We had soya beans and potatoes cooked in hot spices. I didn't cook but my flatmate did and I really liked it. Had it with roti-bread.
Soya beans are quite healthy option and they also taste good to me. Don't know why it is not so famous.
What's for dinner tonight for my other F&D board posters?

Vegetable madras and pilau rice. The pilau rice - Do you put only peas as vegetables or more things? Do you also put cashews and Sultanas (raisins)?

Vegetable madras and pilau rice. The pilau rice - Do you put only frozen peas as vegetables or more things? Do you also put cashews and Sultanas (raisins)? Veggies are in the curry... Pilau rice I just do Basmati rice, turmeric, coriander, bay leaf, and extra low salt vegetable bouillon.

WKD will have a chuck eye steak (not a chuck steak)cooked on the George Foreman grill and a side of "Grown in Idaho" super crispy Crinkle cut fires. He loves this brand of fries and he likes them plain, I might dip my share in Miracle Whip. I will have some Sabra Caramelized Onion Hummus since I don't eat steak. We'll both have fresh peaches afterwards.

Tonight will be my world-famous meat loaf with mashed taters on the side. Is this a secret recipe or something you would share? I think you shared it a few years ago but I'm such a scatterbrain sometimes, that I lose recipes.

I have lamb left over from braised shanks, last night. I'll add veggies and mashed potatoes for a Shepherd's Pie. I like that better than the shanks on the first night, so I always do an extra shank.

All this talk about Indian food is getting me hungry. I think I will have to make an extra-spicy fish curry tonight.

I might go with a salad of my own creation that I make sometimes: chopped tomatoes, corn, tuna from a can, and feta cheese. If the tuna is in water, I drain it; if it is in olive oil, I put the oil in as well.
