I picked the four oldest choices:
The Marvel Super Heroes (1966) Spider-Man (1967)
Super Friends (1973) Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends (1981)

A lot of good picks there. My favorites overall, if I narrowed it down to just three, would be Batman: TAS, Justice League: Unlimited, and Spectacular Spiderman.
Batman: TAS practically goes without saying. It was high quality in virtually every aspect. It invented Harley Quinn. And it brought us Mark Hamill's Joker. Win.
Justice League: Unlimited. I liked it because not only was the storytelling high quality but it also took characters that most people probably weren't familiar with at the time (like The Question, Huntress, Black Canary, Green Arrow, etc.) and gave them time to shine. It still had the big six and an overarching plot but a lot of the episodes were small stories about more obscure superheroes. And Jeffery Combs as The Question? Also a win.
Spectacular Spiderman. The best version of Spiderman that I've seen. It focused heavily on how much his superhero activities were affecting his personal life as Peter Parker. It was a good depiction of what it would be like to be a teenager with a secret life as a superhero. It was also nice that they fleshed out the minor villains like Rhino and Sandman and gave them a lot of personality. The animation isn't for everybody but it did lend itself well to fast-paced fights. Good writing overall, as well. So yeah, also great.
I'd also give an honorable mention to X-Men: Evolution which started off bland but started getting really good from the second season onwards.

My choices are probably pretty conventional; I chose the ones that (with a few exceptions) I grew up watching, some albeit in reruns. The major exception is Batman: The Animated Series, which I inexcusably missed as a kid! Anyhoo… B:TAS is at the top, by the way, but the rest are in no particular order. Batman: The Animated Series—just superb. What can I say that hasn’t already been said? Favorite episodes of what I’ve seen so far are “Perchance to Dream” and “Trial,” with an honorable mention for Adam West in “Beware the Gray Ghost.” Justice League—I was trying to pick between this and JLU, but I generally preferred the storylines in this one (though, like bartlesby, I loved JLU’s one-off stories with the lesser-known heroes, especially with the Question). “Injustice for All,” “Fury,” and “Paradise Lost” are all very good, and “Legends” and “A Better World” are excellent. My favorite episode of JL and JLU, though, is from the latter—the brilliant “For the Man who Has Everything.” Superman: The Animated Series—not up to Batman quality, but still first-class. The three episode making up The World’s Finest count as S:TAS? Because I think they’re the best; I’m also fond of “Brave New Metropolis” and anything with Clancy Brown’s Luthor. Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends—I watched this one in reruns and am still very fond of it, whether or not it’s a particularly accomplished program. I think it was the first time I saw Spidey, just before I saw the ’94 series and the Tobey Maguire movies. I remember liking the ones with Mysterio and Dracula the best. Actually, I got a chance to watch the Dracula episode again relatively recently, and I found it funny that the opening in the crypt borrowed entirely from the Universal horror flick Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man! Spider-Man (’94)—I loved this one as a kid, but it’s been so long since I saw it. I remember the X-Men crossovers and the one with the vampire (why was I so intrigued by superhero/monster crossovers and alternate-universe plots? Beats me! ). The one with the vampire actually scared me, believe it or not… Gotta see it again one of these days. I haven’t seen The Spectacular Spider-Man, which was rated so highly here, or even much of DuckTales, unfortunately. And, for better or worse, I never liked Batman Beyond.

Justice League—I was trying to pick between this and JLU, but I generally preferred the storylines in this one (though, like bartlesby , I loved JLU’s one-off stories with the lesser-known heroes, especially with the Question). “Injustice for All,” “Fury,” and “Paradise Lost” are all very good, and “Legends” and “A Better World” are excellent. My favorite episode of JL and JLU, though, is from the latter—the brilliant “For the Man who Has Everything.” The original JL run was great too. For me, Unlimited edges it out by just a hair because of the one-off stories. It was nice to see stories exploring some of the "B-heroes"... even Booster Gold, one of my favorites, got his own episode. My favorite episode, for the record, is "Double Date" written by Gail Simone. Though there is one episode that has a line I can't ever forget. It's the one where the general from CADMUS turns himself into a monster to draw out the Justice League and fight them. He hates them because of the potential risk they represent. All of the A-team are busy elsewhere, so it's left up to what I would term the "relief pitchers" to deal with him. They fight and get their asses kicked, the city gets wrecked, and then some old lady starts castigating the general because he's tearing up the city and risking the lives of civilians. Eventually, he says in complete deadpan agreement: "Alright. I've become what I hate. I'll give you that." And then he just peaces out, never to be seen again. Easily the funniest moment of the show and intentional, too (I hope).

You are correct, but I think for this purpose the heroic saga told through printed visuals transformed into a serial animation that shapes childhood wonder is the common theme. Dragon Ball (largely the most far reaching and accessible in the states within its genre in its time, no?) acted in the same way as Batman TAS for me. Both shows led me to read their source material later on. 🤷♂️
