I am down with cold, flu, cough and even a bit of headache. I don't know where I got this but it's been raining here all day.
So tonight I am going to cook hot chicken soup specifically with aim to rid myself of cold. It will have garlic, ginger and spices like cloves, turmeric, pepper corn, cinnamon etc. I will also add cornflour to make it more tasty. I might add carrots, peas and some other vegetables to make it more wholesome. The difficult part is in going out at this time to supermarket to bring all the stuffs but I have to do it soon as it's already 7:57 pm here.
What's your dinner plan?

WKD decided he wants pizza twice this week so today we'll have Montelli's Tuscany Garden Pizza (no cheese on this pizza), a green salad, and more fresh peaches. The peaches from the local Walmart have really been fantastic this year so we're stuffing our faces with the peaches.

I'm going to broil a salmon steak, brushing it with lemon, garlic and butter. I'll steam some cauliflower, and dribble some of the mixture over it.

Not sure yet, but hope you feel better soon, AJ. Thanks a lot, ms_sunshine . Just woke up an hour ago and I am feeling much better today. I think the soup did wonders...and I also avoided softdrink yesterday (may be first time in last one year that I didn't have one can) which allowed me to sleep on time.
