I don't buy individual comics anymore. I wait until they bind collections into hardcovers. If I didn't I would spend to much. I got in Marvel Zombies 6, Buffy Season 10 Library Edition Volume 1, Spike: Alone Together Now, Vol.1, Separation Anxiety, X-O Manowar Deluxe Edition Vol. 1, Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe, LXG omnibus, and Flash Point Paradox in the last 2 weeks.

X-O Manowar is the bees knees. So rare to find someone else who reads it. I've got two trades to catch up on but, that was my favorite title for like a whole year straight.

I also seem to have developed an OCD thing about Hardcovers in last 5 years. I couldn't find a hardcover version of the novel Cycle of the Werewolf by Stephen King. I honestly don't think anyone was ever made. I ordered a new Turtleback Book (for school libraries) version of it. Just so I could have a hardcover version. The last 3 collections from Marvel's The Dark Tower were only published in softcover. I've been emailing Houchen Bindery to see if they can bind the 3 into hardcovers and make them look like the rest.

I kinda want to read White Knight where the Joker becomes sane and starts a campaign as Jack Napier, advocate of the people, to undermine Batman.
But I don't see myself rushing to the comic shop for it.

I usually prefer paperbacks and I obsess over getting first editions of them. I just ended a year long quest to get a first edition paperback of Woe to Live On by Daniel Woodrell (in mint condition). I'm close to having first edition paperbacks of all 100 of my favorite books --- 27 more to go.

I'm disappointed that it is about to go on a long hiatus (maybe up to a year).

Well shit my local owned Video Game store just put all retro games on 50% off. Looks like comics are getting pushed to the side for a bit.

No writer but Peter David every did anything interesting with Multiple Man. Al Ewing is killing it so far on Immortal Hulk. Did you read his Ultimates? The book did not do well, but damn that was good stuff. Look it up if you haven't read it.
I also read a bunch of other stuff, Marvel, DC, indies. Movies and comics. That's my shit
