Pro - Memorable characters Carla Gugino Visually stunning throughout Mickey Rourke Probably the most faithful comic adaptation.
Cons - Jessica Alba's PG-13 stripping in an R rated movie.

Pro - Terrific audio & visual candy.
Con - I rather grew out of it after only 2-3 viewings.

Pros:
The visuals
The Marv and Yellow Bastard storylines
Cons:
I didn't care for the Clive Owen storyline, though I liked Benecio
The characters' resistance to death. I know I should be suspending my disbelief, but I just never got used to how these regular human beings could shrug off fatal injuries
I wouldn't normally complain but...yeah, the movie was pretty heavily marketed around Jessica Alba stripping only to show nada

Hands down one of my favs from 2005 . So re watchable and badass film!
Pros Mickey Rourke was BORN to play Marv . so much good / funny / cool dialogue in this (very quotable ) plenty of eye candy loved the black & white cinematography with just a little color thrown in here & there (very faithful comic adaptation ) The Yellow Bastard is a criminally underrated villain (played brilliantly by Nick Stahl who needs to have a come back asap)
Cons Hmmm maybe Brittany Murphy & Jamie King's acting but overall I didn't mind it tbh but I've heard complaints about both of them over the years.

Pros:
- Mickey Rourke as Marv.
- An almost perfect ensemble cast.
- the ugly rain drenched hellhole that is Basin City is one of the most perfectly realized film settings ever.
- Its commitment to the R rating.
Cons:
- Jackie Boy was in Old Town and didn't know the consequences of threatening prostitutes?
- Certain scenes like Clive Owen talking to a decapitated head seem just goofy.

Pro: visuals, Willis and Marv stories.
Con: no use for the rest, rewatch value practically nil.
