Disappointing.
Well... I guess no one alive today, will be seeing the planet Mars turn blue, and won't be able to take a leisurely walk on it's surface.
It will be Spacesuits and Pressurized Living Modules for all that visit for quite some time.

With no magnetosphere, Mars lost whatever atmosphere it had. It would again. A losing proposition. The Moon is our best bet because it is the same average distance from the sun as earth. It has a 28-day period, but that could be managed. Mars is too far from Sol.
