Can you admit you might be wrong in your opinions?

Facts can change my opinions on things.

But what are exactly facts in the America we live in?

I admit that at one time I thought that the OP was not an annoying twit.

Yes, because I think it's pretty much a fact that just about everyone is wrong at times as you can't be right 100% of the time on every single issue etc (those who disagree with this are likely the type the OP is talking about). but I figure the more one understands what they are talking about the less likely they are to be wrong. but even still, some things, even once both people understand something well, might still have differing opinions on how things should be done or what's better or worse etc. so like some stuff might not be a clear cut answer even though some stuff is. so I guess it sort of depends on what one is arguing about whether there is a clear cut answer or not.


but humans being humans, there is always going to be conflict between each other as some people just clash etc.



I pretty much agree with you here.

like some people are too full of pride and get offended over petty crap etc (like if they perceive something as making them look even slightly weak over it). or those people who will end up knowing they are wrong occasionally and then change the subject etc. basically not even slightly acknowledging it etc even though you know that they knew they were wrong. some people will never come out and admit they were wrong as even when you know that they know they were wrong, they just might go silent about it (instead of saying something like 'my bad' or 'sorry about that' etc) and change the subject.

p.s. but I can understand some people not bending or changing their opinions on some stuff if they feel it's right thing to do etc.

Exactly.

like sometimes when you KNOW your right and the other person keeps on arguing, if I can catch myself, ill usually just say screw it and move on as it's not worth it. but then again sometimes you can't help to keep on arguing because you can't believe the other person thinks differently on some things and it's harder to let go etc.


but who knows... I think some people who insist on arguing anyways might be that type they will say just about anything so that they are 'right'.

Sometimes yes, but how can an opinion ever be wrong? It's their own feelings.

Well yes. That's just getting the facts wrong. I wouldn't exactly call it someone stating an opinion.
I was thinking in the veins of an opinion on a movie, person or whatever and if it's GOOD or BAD. Saying that a movie is good or bad is NOT a fact.
