Problem: It doesn't make any sense. First six star wars movies: No logic whatsoever, all fantasy storytelling, right? So on that level everything makes sense. With the force awakens, it's at a different level indeed because, they introduce logic to it. The kind of logic that seems at odds with the storytelling of the first six star wars, in other words now it's meant to be more realistic. Which is somehow at odds with the feel of the first six star wars films.

Force Awakens was the least logical film in the saga.
In fact it featured an insanely inane amount of plot holes, bad science and fanfic level writing. Hell, it even had a broken plotline.
Not to talk about the lack of originality and creativity that made previous episode watchable.

You been drinking tonight, sir? I'll try to explain what I think I meant though:
It's like if someone took the Sergio leone westerns ( which have very little logic in them, because they're like fairy tales right ) and made an additional movie or two and made these movies with more logic in them. Because they didn't have the vision that Sergio leone did obviously: they would inevitably be more logical, and less, fantasy storytelling. They would inevitably Have to be more logical, because whatever the new film maker decided to do to continue on with the franchise, He would base the new series Only on whatever came before it, not what the original movies were actually trying to accomplish, artistically. You wouldn't have the same creative mind that created it in the first place, so therefore they (the new director)would have to revert to logic. In other words the logic that he interprets from the original series of films.
