Absolutely not. I want no part of that. Also, I don't trust the food to be clean enough.

Not too often. Mainly for special occasions I guess. But its not me operating the barbecue. Absolutely not. I want no part of that. Also, I don't trust the food to be clean enough. What, why not? Why wouldn't the food be clean?

That might depend what you call a barbecue. It is easy enough to put barbecue sauce on pork ribs and cook them slowly in the oven at a low temperature. That is how I do it.

I am not well acquainted with exact meaning of the word barbecue. Is lamb on a spit a kind of barbecue? If it is then I love it!

Barbecue is often on a spit but sometimes a grill and the meat is most often pork, chicken or beef and has a coating of vinegar and molasses or brown sugar brushed on it while it is cooking.

Like a gas barbeque or does it have to be coal or wood? Anyway I do at least once a week starting when the ground is mostly clear of snow and the temperature is above freezing right through until first snowfall. Sometimes pull it into the garage if it's too cold. Barbeque season lasts a lot longer than summer.
Meat (beef, chicken, pork, lamb, shrimp, shishkebabs, hamburgers, sausages and hotdogs), veggies (potatoes, sweet and hot peppers, mushrooms, onions, corn, tomatoes, green beans), garlic bread and pizza, etc. Everything tastes better cooked over a fire.
Oh and almost always dry herbs and spices. Barbeque sauces are for people who don't keep seasonings in their home.

I don't trust the food to be clean enough. eVEN IF THE FOOD WERE DROPPED ON THE FLOOR AND NIBBLED ON BY MUSKRATS BEFORE BEING PUT ON THE GRILL.. IT WOULD BE CLEANED BY THE FIRE AND THE HEAT IN THE GRILL.
sorry 'bout the caps lock but not about to re-type .

Not as much as I did before my heart attacked me last summer, but I still like to do ribs or a pork steak every so often. It's an activity I truly enjoy.
