Seems like they're phoning it in at this point with these live-action remakes. The trailer reeks of aping from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland movies.

I think it looks pretty good. I love the Nutcracker story, I love Disney, and the cast is good. I'll be seeing it.

My Grandmother used to take me to the Nutcracker every year. I will see this, but they should call it what it is--based on the Nutcracker but not the Nutcracker.

Could be interesting.
But that trailer was bad in my opinion.
I may check it out.
Of course i notice that they changed the creator from a man to a woman. Again an example on how they refuse to give women new original roles instead just give them hand me downs roles that men has played.
Also where is the rat king ?
