Does anyone here use "Sonic" as his/her ISP?
I don't think that they're really a new company. But, they're small, and are currently making a big move into several cities in California. San Francisco is one of those cities, and their trucks have been installing wiring in my neighborhood for several days.
I've looked them up online, and read the flyer that the sent to residents of this area.
Their offer is internet and phone service for $40.00/month. That certainly sounds nice ... assuming the service is good. The money isn't my biggest concern, and I would assume that the price will soon climb, anyway.
I'm always fighting with AT&T ... isn't everybody? And, this Sonic swears that they are committed to "net neutrality," customer privacy, over the Big Guys. Of course that could be golden-throated P.R., too.
If you use Sonic, tell us what you think of it.
Thanks

Never heard of them, but basically, internet service in the U.S. is a ripoff compared to other countries. But of course, we've got to deregulate and encourage revenue "enhancements" like tiered service.
