Redford. He was a good villain. I think he’s my favorite MCU villain.
Have I told the story of how I watched that movie with my dad? We both said simultaneously, “Hey, that’s Robert Redford!”

Do you think Ant Man is better than The Dark Knight? Yes, because it lacks the sheer pretentions of The Dark Knight. It doesn't feel the need to constantly preach at me. Is Batman and Robin better than The Dark Knight?

Yes, because it lacks the sheer pretentions of The Dark Knight. It doesn't feel the need to constantly preach at me. Is Citizen Kane 2: Rosebud's Revenge better than The Dark Knight? Now I wanna see that movie. Gory, explosion-packed action flick! With Samuel L. Jackson as Charles Foster Kane!

And it has to be politically relevant, so a thinly-veiled Trump will be the villain. And giant robots! And “Rosebud” is actually the nuclear launch code word!

I don't know. A few things impressed me a little. I guessed from watching Peter's love interest Liz that she's movie star bound. She has some presence. I remember caring more than I thought I would about The Vulture. The character was always fine but the downtrodden working man trope is something I'm passed expecting actors to breathe new life into, but lo and behold Michael Keaton did it. Or at least he gave an arduous task its best shot that I've seen.
I don't really know. I feel like I remember the movie, like if I had to explain it to somebody. All in all it's years too late for me. Tom Holland is good. I think he's solid but still years too late. Tobey Maguire's hit and miss for me, mostly miss if I'm being honest, but it's one of few times I thought he was well cast.
If we're being solid honest, for me the movie is memorable for how much I didn't like the direction they took the story. The movie was fine, it covers the basics of what a movie is. But its most memorable feature for me is how much more I liked Spiderman 2. It annoys me that if Spiderman has to exist in the MCU that he's not further along in his life and career, even his age. I'm glad I didn't have to watch "with great power comes great responsibility" again, but the story on the surface level just fell so flat for me. I swear I walked out of the theater thinking why the f--- is he 15 again?

Not copying the Black Panther thread because I still think that movie is relevant and active as its the first black superhero and will be remembered as such for sometime. But as for S:H, it just seems completely forgotten and it hit me reading the new recent Raimi thread as well as the Black Panther one. Not a single scene or the feel of the story is memorable at all and it only came out last year! It feels like a textbook definition of a filler movie - which it is, a link between Civil War and IW, both memorable event films. Even though I hate Ragnarok, that is still a memorable film as its a zany, out there, wacky instalment with a catchy soundtrack and remodelled Thor. But nothing at all stands out in Homecoming, its a movie that had a lot of hype and positive reaction when it came out - mainly because it was Spideys return to the MCU rather than the actual quality of the story. But if its barely remembered now, it will be completely forgotten in a few years. And its a disgrace it holds a RT % rating at pretty much the same as Spiderman 2. Can anyone make a claim to why its memorable? Or honestly say it will be remembered as fondly as SM2 in 14 years time (in the year 2031) Bait.

If it is, you took it hook, line, sinker and pole. Hell you even took his arm. How many old threads are you going to bump just to start a fight?
