blowing bubbles at bureaucrats in bikinis
i researched
the difference between
being
lurched from a perch
and being
ever so slowly coerced
into a
silk lined purse
where the doctors are schooled
chapter and verse
into believing
anything is possible
but you better plan for the worse
so i redialed the hospital
asking for
the head nurse
and she said the best laid plans
are often changed
by just one man
so it was then i planned
to expose
the very sand
this foundation was sitting on
into a sovereign song
where everyone could sing a long
and not one
was to be left outside
for the human heart is stronger
then any tide
of greed or misplaced patriotic pride.
