3-1 home win. Everton's dodgy defense will be their undoing. Plus I think Wolves as being newly promoted will want to get off to a good start so I think they'll be more up for it.

TV ref say correct decision about Jagielka sending off. Neves resultant free kick an absolute screamer for 1-1.

Should have taken off Richarlison who is on a yellow and kept on Sigurðsson who can bang them in from distance and who himself is handy from set pieces. My prediction is on it's way to becoming true. Scratch that.

Not convinced about red card. Wasn't that bad a challenge. Think he must've been sent off as last defender preventing clear goalscoring opportunity.

Good build-up, excellent finish from Richarlison. Wolves offered nothing in the way of defence there. And why have they not been attacking ten man Everton?

I've looked at it about 15 times now in slow motion and I reckon Jagielka was harshly done by. He does get the ball, as well as a piece of Diogo Jota's left ankle. But look at Jota dragging his right foot before contact is made. Forget his left leg for a minute and look at his right leg. He was always going to go down. I think he conned the ref there, although Jagielka didn't help the cause. Not a red card, though, in my eyes.
Oh look, now Wolves have potted for 2-2. Jiminez with a goal not unlike the three scored at St James' this afternoon. The cross in and the header finishing it off.

Games like this I wish I had BT but MotD will have to do tonight. Ricarlson sounds like a proper signing so far

One game in and I've already aged 10 years.

Match report in...
Rich Arlison makes a double insertion in his first soccer game for Evertown. The Candies took a 2 to 2 tie against EPL League freshmen, the Wolfyhampton Wonders. They mighta even got the W had Jackie Anelka not got the major felony card in the first quarter.
