Not a chance. I'm sure the safety stats are impressive but all I remember hearing is of people who have fallen off and died.

I have done rollercoasters maybe twice in my life, and that was enough for me.

In my youth I tried a few, but I can't say I ever cared much for them.
I preferred to grab a mat and use the giant slide. When I was a little kid, one ride at the Royal Show cost twenty cents and you got a free ride for every dollar spent. One day, my parents spent thirteen dollars on rides on my behalf.
These days, the only time I go near amusement park rides is in GTA ONLINE.

As a native Californian, I grew up with Disneyland--so yes, I've done certain "amusement park rides"...but not the traditional roller coaster or Ferris Wheel. Too much of a weenie.

Not in my youth, when I rode a few, and certainly not now

I love many of the rides at Disney World.

Love amusement parks, so yes, but I'm also a much bigger Disney fan than anything else. I've been to Disney tons and tons of times, especially to Disney World (in Orlando). That was one thing I loved about living in Florida.
Aside from Disney, my second favorite is parks that basically try to copy them--like Universal in Orlando.

11/10 for reputable branded parks.
-11/10 for exhibition/fair style parks. I wouldn't ride a ferris wheel in a seasonal/travelling park if you paid me.
(ferris wheel is spelling error here... what am I missing?)

I haven't been around any for over 10 years...
So... not recently...
But I used to like this ride, which had different names, I think one of them was "Starship"?... Anyway it was like a spinning top. You went inside and leaned against sliding panels. The ride would spin like a top, and the G Forces pins you to the sliding panels. As it goes faster, the panels slide up, with you pinned to them... It was fun, trying to do something, like raise: my arms, against the high G Forces.
But I was never a fan of roller coasters, and never went on the big ones.
I hated the rides that were like spinning tops, but had cars hanging from the sides that you got into. As it went faster the car would swing out... I road one only once, and it made me feel sickly, and it scared the hell out of me too... When the operator asked us if we wanted to go faster, I seriously screamed out "NO!", he didn't listen. I was so thankful when it was over. NEVER AGAIN...
I usually prefer the slower rides...
Ferris Wheels are fun. I was on one, one time when a heavy rain shower came through... I was soaked before it came time for me to get off... Everyone in line had scrambled for cover, and no one was waiting... The attendant let us stay on it, and ride it again and again, if we wanted to... Since I was already wet, I just stayed on...
Normally, you can usually find me riding the bumper cars, and aiming for other cars! It was a way to satisfy the mean streak in me, without really being mean to anyone! After all, that's what bumper cars are for! LOL!

it depends on the situation. I lost my glasses on a ride at six flags new england and ended up having to borrow money to get them replaced.
If I'm alone, usually I don't go on risky rides that can cause me to loose my glasses if i don't have a way to set them down first. If I'm with a friend, We will wait in line together but we will not ride together. I go first and my friend holds my stuff and lets people cut in front of him while i take my turn then hold his or her stuff if needed

I never bothered with those things.
I would rather ride a fast motorcycle etc to get a rush instead as that's a great feeling.

No I don't.
The last amusement park I went to was about twelve years ago, back when I was a teacher. It was a school trip. When we got there they told us that we didn't have to look after the kids or anything, we could just spend the day doing whatever we liked. So I spent the day in the pub reading a book.

Loved them as a kid and young adult. The last time I was on an amusement park ride or in an amusement park was probably in the mid to late 1990s.
