That's not as bad..."Honey Pie" is the gold standard of awful Paul granny tendencies...His weird obsession with Tin Pan Alley music drove John crazy, apparently...

Bought the album upon its release in America.
The song is a song. Nothing that shouldn't have been expected at the time.
I was 17 when I heard it, and my friends and I considered it a joke song at the time.
Now, here I sit brokenhearted (at 68), lived my life and basically, just farted
