Jaws Sunshine The Notebook Dances With Wolves UP Steel Magnolias Gentleman Prefer Blondes There's more. Jaws felt like an obvious choice that it shouldn't even need to be reminded. There are a lot of obvious choices out there but I purposely didn't list them because they're obvious.

Since we are talking techincal perfection over emotional, the list does not necessarily match up to my all time favorites.
Children of Men Fellowship of the Ring The Godfather Tangled Raiders of the Lost Ark Dark Knight Fiddler on the Roof Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind Goodfellas The Fisher King

Not being a filmmaker I wouldn't know what a 'perfect' film is. And you would certainly get a variety of ideas from the filmmakers themselves. David Lynch said 'Who gives a fuck how long a scene is?'. But I guess the memorable ones are close, for anyone really. If you think of them all the time, and after decades, I imagine the people got close to 'perfect'. I also noted the the first impression is important, just like an indelible memory. Here's a few that I initially saw in the theater, and was probably in a good state of mind because I think of them continually, almost like part of my life, something that really happened. 'Images' Robert Altman 1975; 'Performance' Donald Cammell and Nicholas Roeg 1969; 'Blow Up' Michelangelo Antonioni'; '2001: A Space Odyssey' Stanley Kubrick 1968; 'Mulholland Drive' and 'Lost Highway' David Lynch. And a few that I saw on small screens but startled me, and again I think of them continually, 'Mr. Arkadin aka Confidential Report' and 'The Lady From Shanghai' Orson Welles; 'Notorious' Alfred Hitchcock'; 'Five Easy Pieces' Bob Rafelson , 'Don't Look Now' and 'Insignificance' Nicholas Roeg; 'Kiss Me Deadly' Robert Aldrich.
'Performance' really haunts me probably because I was tripping when I first saw it and it's quite atmospheric with some clever special effects. James Fox is a London gangster who gets on the wrong side of his gang and has to hide out. So he accidentally discovers that a local rock star who is more or less on sabbatical looking for ideas and has a space for rent. The gangster, Chas, thinks this might be an innocuous place. The rock star, Turner played by Mick Jagger, is fascinated by Chas, guesses he's a criminal and feeds him psilocybin to more or less find out things about the fellow for some inspiration. And Chas has a premonition that is eerie. Cammell goes inside both their minds effectively. I'm constantly seeing scenes in my own mind, interestingly. I later found out that Cammell was inspired by a couple of Jorge Luis Borges' short stories for the film. There are even a couple of references in it, including Turner reading from one of them, 'The South'.
