Love The Bangles, least favorite song of theirs is Walk Like An Egyptian.
Don't care for Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, but I adore Cyndi Lauper.
Dancing Queen by Abba-I don't dislike it, but not even one of my top 10 songs of theirs.

I think these are probably amongst their most known hits, but nothing special to me.
R.E.M - 'Everybody Hurts'
SOFT CELL - 'Tainted Love'
BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN - 'Born To Run'
NEW ORDER - 'Blue Monday'
THE DOORS - 'Light My Fire'

"Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2)" by Pink Floyd. All 3 "Another Brick in the Wall" tracks are in the bottom half of the album IMO. "Low Rider" by War. I like it OK, but it's nowhere close to being one of their best songs. "Rock the Casbah" by The Clash. See above.

Don't like Train in Vain or Rock the Casbah, either.

Layla is not my favorite record from Derek and the Dominos. I much prefer Key to the Highway, Have You Ever Loved A Woman, and several others.
One of our colleagues on the old board said the slide guitar on Layla sounded like a mouse roller-skating along the fretboard.

A few
Stairway to Heaven - don't know if it's Zeppelin's biggest hit but it's the best known. Good guitar work, lyrics are drivel. Light My Fire - OK, but not even top 20 of my personal Doors songs Hey Jude - Again, is it the Beatles biggest hit? "Na na na na na na" ad infinitum. Drags down the beginning You Shook Me All Night Long - Decent song, but I always like Bon Scott's AC/DC much more
I'd take every one on an infinite loop over Rebecca Black or the Macarena any day

I'm a fan of Mott the Hoople, but hate 'All the Young Dudes'.

Do you have favorite artists where you don't care for their most known hit? Most all of them. In my experience - and generally speaking, of course - a band's best work is often not a "hit" in the sense of popularity.

"Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2)" One of my all-time favorite guitar leads.

My late beautiful precious Steve Sanders is from the Oak Ridge Boys. "Elvira" has never been one of my favorite songs. God bless you and his family always!!! Holly P.S. My most favorite songs from the act are the twenty four songs that are led by him.

Love The Bangles, least favorite song of theirs is Walk Like An Egyptian. I guess "most known" is the key here, because I think Eternal Flame was more successful than Walk Like an Egyptian, and I can't stand it.

Van Halen was once my favorite band, but my least favorite song from all the VH albums I own is "Jump".

Cheap Trick - "The Flame" - Never cared for it. Love the band's first five albums though.
Men Without Hats - "The Safety Dance" - Great underrated Canadian synthpop band with a few excellent albums to their credit (Pop Goes The World being the very best). I can live without ever hearing their hit song again.
The Clash - "Rock The Casbah"
