I really can't decide if I want to be bothered to sit through it all again.

Yes, for a good time. Then again, you don't have to if you don't want to.

Doesn't seem worth it.

Worth rewatching if you're a fan of 80s slashers. Otherwise, don't bother.
I would recommend against binge-watching them, however, as this is one franchise in particular that'll become very monotonous if you try and watch all the films back-to-back.

If you enjoy them.
I’m a big fan of slashers and last year I rewatched 1-4 in a single night. I’m a fan of the whole franchise although I hardly ever rewatch Hell and X...tho mostly cuz I don’t own them.

Sure. I've re-watched the series many times over the years and always have had a good time. I haven't binged them in probably 17 years or so though. As I recall, that felt like a bit much. But one or two per night spread over a week/week and a half is perfectly reasonable.

I would watch a couple a night over the period of a few days.

I think I will probably get around to rewatching them, based on the results of this poll.

They originally intended 3 to be the final film. 4-6 feature Tommy Jarvis, so you’ve got a nice character arc there. The rest aren’t as neatly divided but you’ve got through half of them at least.

I mean, based on the "if I want to be bothered" comment, maybe not. These are the definitive kick back and turn your brain off dumb slashers, and you're either into it or you're not.

Recently watched the first four. I was up in a cabin with friends for four days so it created a good atmosphere for the movies. One a night and a few beers and they went down very well. The beer also.

Yes!! I'm working my way through it now, but I'm only on The Final Chapter. Watching the special features, commentaries, everything.
I have underrated Part II. I actually like it more than the original. It has much better counceler characters than Part I. I'd love to go to The Casino in Conn. if it's still around.

I've never watched them all together at once, I've done the first five, and then VI, VII and VIII at some other point.
Back when H20 was coming out I did marathon all Halloween movies, that was fun. It was so long ago that I recall the video store clerk eyeballing me weird for renting them all at once. You'd think a video store clerk would appreciate a geeky move like that.

Leading up to H20, my friend and I rented 4 & 5, copied them to a blank tape and watched them over and over in anticipation of H20. Joke was on us when we found out H20 completely ignored those movies. Ah, the days before the internet was ubiquitous.

I remember renting Halloween 3 back in the mid 80s and being all pumped to see what happened after the events of Halloween II. Little did I know that it had nothing to do with the previous two movies.

Great idea. It is one of my favourite Horror movie franchises and we re-watched it recently and still enjoyed it.
