Let me guess. Seeing his parents chopped down in the street by a hoodlum caused him to have his first doubts.

All comic book characters should be atheists.

All comic book characters should be atheists. Even Thor? That wouldn't make much sense.

From what I remember in the comic book days, everything starts with Big Bang (Although Galactic existed before that in another universe.)
I think the comic book universes just have the ability to produce tons of super powered beings.

Pretty sure this is supposed to be "god" in the Marvel universe:

That's interesting.

I guess the correct view would be they are agnostic.
I can't recall any of them actually worshipping and Wonder Woman has actually killed at least one god before.

What do we discuss here? I am having tea @3:09 am here! Does that surprise anyone? And I am currently watching Hostel II I've been watching a lot of British detective/crime shows on Netflix lately. For those of us who come from a slightly different culture, it's almost comical how tea seems to be offered up as a salve for everything. "I'm sorry your whole family just got slaughtered. Can I offer you a cup of tea?" OR "Mr. Criminal, I'm Detective Inspector Such and So. The reason we've brought you in for questioning today is to accuse you of a rather lengthy list of horrific crimes. We're going to be here a very long time while I tell you about these crimes, show you gruesome photos, tell you how much the victims suffered and lay all the blame at your feet, but before we get started with all that, cuppa?"

On sports board it was asked "bev you sip when you 1st post in the morning on the sports board?"
Our beloved Father Jack replied: Tea. Like all civilised people.
I have seen tea being very big thing in Japanese culture as well. Especially the medieval Japanese culture. They had tea ceremony and the person who conducted the tea ceremony could gain a favour from Lord. Sometimes even the hand of Lord's daughter in marriage.

Discuss something light here. Comic book characters being atheists doesn't really make much sense.... They had an actual angel in the Justice League. Batman has fought the Satan.... THE Satan. Ghost Rider is a demon. Hell... The Demon is a demon. Blue Devil... is a devil. The Son Of Satan is... well... you know. Hercules and Ares were Avengers.

Marvel and DC both have their versions of God. The One Above All, Marvel. The Presence, DC.
