And it's just tons of fun. The Thing looks great, and I don't think I'll get any argument that Chris Evans is at his best here in his definitive role of Johnny Storm.
Will the MCU ever make a movie this witty, with such good effects, that's as fun to watch? Will Evans ever make us forget about his epic and beloved turn as Storm in these fledgling Cap flicks? I don't see them taking, but there's always a chance.
Can the MCU Fantastic Four ever reach, let alone surpass, this high-water mark? Can they ever generate as much chemistry and heat between any two characters as Jessica Alba playing a scientist and -- and -- the dude who plays Reed whose name I don't know and, best I can tell, was never in anything else? The MCU has thrown everything they have out there and still have never even come close. Why, just a moment ago on my screen Reed and Ben got into a hilarious scuffle that was both riveting and comical at once. Thing called him "Rubber Boy" -- ha!
Guys, I'm worried about the MCU...

In my mind Foxtastic 4 and Raimi Spider-man and HULK are an alternate Marvel universe.

I always liked it actually. It's never had a good reputation though it probably improved after the last one in 2015 but I always enjoyed them.
It was a bit cheesy though at times like "Susan let's not fight" "No. Lets."
And Doctor Doom was not done well at all but yeah it was fun and enjoyable to watch I think. The second one wasn't too bad either but it was let down by being ridiculously short.

I hated it back in the day, but it seems "quaint," by today's standards, in terms of execution and ambition. Sequel is okay. ETA: I never saw Fant4astic or whatever they called the 2015 reboot.

I actually like it more than most people do and it's leagues better than the 2015 film. The cast aside from Jessica Alba was pretty good, although they could have done Doctor Doom so much better. It was lacking in action scenes and when there was action, it was often too short like the fight with Doctor Doom. The visual effects haven't stood the test of the time.
I still await to see a really good Fantastic Four film.

You kidding? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? Unheard of! Innit? But I rather like this one too. It’s not great by any means, it may not even be “good,” but both it and the sequel are mildly entertaining. As for a great Fantastic Four movie, let me once again bandy around this idea… ( Bandy. Hm. That’s a word Horatio Hornblower would use, don’t you agree, No Morpho, Only Bánh mì? ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) )

I like the 2005 movie. It's not MCU good by any means but it is good for it's day. The sequel isn't as good as the first one but it is OK too.

I guess I’m not a MCU fan then since my 3 favorite CBMs have the “DC Comics” title at the beginning. Or maybe just maybe not all MCU fans are on the same boat.
