I don't see how the beginning of the theme song matched up to Alison's death at all (unless there are events to come we don't know about yet). The only one thing to do is be the wave that I am and sink back into the ocean obviously connects, though.

Wikipedia states that the first few episodes inspired Fiona Apple to write the song, she had no knowledge of what would happen in later seasons. Maybe the writers were inspired by her song as well? It could contain spoilers!

She told him he didn't know her and maybe it's safe to say she didn't know him either. Ben's wife marries another guy, has another kid. Or I could be way too literal, lol.
