I scored 4, mszanadu. It seems I am more in hurry to get what is inside those wrapppers than in watching those wrappers. But seriously, I made silly mistakes during the quiz. Should have scored better. Thanks for this topic. I remember on old board, ms_sunshine used to start many nice quizzes and games. Thanks for taking us to old times.

1/10 Some of those names of chocolate bars are wonderful. The colours were of little help to me but I enjoyed some of the names, even though I've never eaten many of those chocolate bars, such as : Payday - a big slab of a bar with more than one filling and bought as a special reward to yourself? Baby Ruth - a round segmented choc in the shape of a baseball? A bit like a Terry's Chocolate Orange which you snap into little crescent shaped slices. Mr Goodbar - I've read the book but not heard of the chocolate bar. Wonka bar - a spin-off from the book/film maybe? Oh Henry! my middle name is shared with a choc bar, yahoo. Here's hoping it's a popular one. Milk Duds - not a clue, could be anything. 5th Avenue - a rich dark chocolate bar at the pricier end of the market? 3 Musketeers - like a Kit Kat but only three fingers? Whatchamacallit - Oh to go into a shop and be able to ask for a Whachamacallit. Zagnut - I imagine this as a Lion Bar shaped item with nuts protruding beneath the chocolate coating, a rough looking bar with a good chew to it. Krackel - can't imagine what this could be, something that explodes in your mouth, like that Space Dust powder you had as a child? Krackel has a lively sound to it.

4/10 heck the last question I had never even heard of those candy bars. It's still a best effort here suzi - a good try . I agree these were a bit tricky and even I had to study these muti colored wrappers for a few minutes before answering too . As for the candy bar selections for the last one on question # 10. here is the history of those particular bars . Skor Candy Bar Whatchamacallit Candy Bar Zagnut Candy Bar Thanks so much for your reply .

Should have scored better. Thanks for this topic. I remember on old board, ms_sunshine used to start many nice quizzes and games. Thanks for taking us to old times. It's still a good effort here just the same Aj_June . Also like you said here - " more in hurry to get what is inside those wrappers " the sweet treats we just can't resist here either ( right ? ) . These pics seem to have the effect as if the wrappers were all opened up also the lettering / writing was left off completely and of course it was just the color schemes alone for us to guess here too ( on an artistic level I find that to be quite brilliant indeed here ) . I don't recall chatting with poster ms_sunshine on the Old IMDB ( although the screen name seems familiar ) but it appears you folks had good times on the old boards just the same . Also your most welcome too and if I do come across any more " food - related quizzes " I will again send them this way too . Thanks so much for your reply .

You got 9 out of 10 Sweet! Proceed straight to the candy aisle to pick out your reward!
Maybe I like candy too much, but I found it really easy except the last one. I too have never heard if a Skor or a Zagnut. I have seen and had a Whatchamacallit, but it left about zero impact.

I remember the candy bars SKOR and Whatchamacallit from way back when also . The Skor bars were awesome the chocolaty outside with the crispy buttery toffee inside - so good . I do agree the Whatchamacallit bar seemed to be a bit weak in flavor not enough peanutty goodness ( IMPO ) . Thanks so much for your reply .
