And what does any of that have to do with which one looks scarier with their glowing eyes?
But yeah Thor could kick the crap out of Superman under the right circumstances, but then Superman can wield Mjolnir and take Thors power for his own and batter the crap out of Thor...depends on who the writer likes more.
Writer's bias will always favor Superman, as he's DC's flagship character and probably the most well-known superhero whereas Thor is just some B or even C list character. In a completely unbiased narrative, a single hit from Mjolnir should outright kill Superman... as long as Thor could actually hit him that is. A max strength shot yeah, but Superman is susceptible to magic he's not rendered impotent by it though is he? like magic isn't the same to him as wood is to vampires in the old BTVS where even a pencil was able to kill them.
I mean what makes Thor any different power/magic wise tp Darkseid who Superman can take a hammering from? it's all whatever the writers want the story to be, it's how Batman can stand half a chance even teched out against superman because Superman can move at speeds humans and even reasonably advanced technical leaps cant follow, so anytime Supes & Bats fight Supes should be able to decapitate Batman before Batman's next heartbeat, but Batman is popular so he always finds a way.
Part of Thor's weakness though is how he fights, he throws Mjolnir but Superman's fast enough and worthy to catch and wield it, which would grant him Thor's powers, and deprive Thor of one of his most powerful weapons.
Plus how can we be sure Marvel magic/divinity is as effective on Superman as DC's, divinity may not even count as a weakness seeing how he can stand up against the strength of the New Gods...fucking hell comics are confusing if you think about it.

Superman isn't weak against magic, he just doesn't have any superhuman defense against it like he does with everything else. Basically, a magical item will affect him like a regular item will affect a regular human. It doesn't make him weak or cause him pain like kryptonite, he just doesn't have any special defense against it above what a normal human would. So for example, a magical razor will cut Superman like a regular razor will cut a regular human. Which means a magical warhammer will affect Superman in the same way a regular warhammer does. And if a regular warhammer is swung full strength against a human's face (especially if the one swinging it has the strength of someone like Thor) then that human will get killed with one shot... which is what should happen to Superman if writer bias was taken out of the equation. Same could also be said for Thor's lightning which is magical. It will affect Superman the same way regular lightning affects a human... which means there's a high chance it would kill him with a single shot.

Thor - no offense to Clark. Drop a large bowling ball of Kryptonite on Clark's chest and he's as useful as a soggy toothpick. Thor doesn't really have, to my knowledge, any Kryptonite-like weaknesses (well, I mean maybe Loki). Plus, technically, if you got Clark out of the sun for long enough and you restrained him in a lead-walled room with some kryptonite blocks in it, he can't do anything. You put Thor in that same room, he can still mess you up. [Plus, Loki would probably show up and them chaos happens. Clark, sadly, doesn't have a brother. He does have a dog in some versions, or Lois, or his cousin, or the Justice League- and I wouldn't mess with Wonder Woman... or Batman, for that matter.] And what does any of that have to do with which one looks scarier with their glowing eyes?

Supes weilded Mjolnir at Odin's will. Outside of being worthy, Odin could allow others to temporarily weild Mjolnir So officially Thor could do what he did to Hulk, & were Supes to try to pick Mjolnir up, he could use the distraction to launch an attack Or do the Loki bit on the rainbow bridge

I'm just playin'. Thor's ok. Kara minds her manners. And that isn't her Supes. We work with what we have my friend. And ...
