I think Daniel Wu would be great. Hmm that’s not bad...

Unfortunately Family Guy has kinda highlighted the difficulty of bringing Namor into the MCU films even though he was in the comics first LOL another win for DC 👏🏻

If Taylor Lautner was a better actor or had made a bigger impact on Hollywood like he was originally expected to, I would've said him. He totally as the look.
I definitely like the idea of Brian Tee. He has that look of being able to play the hero type, but also the anti-hero type. He's pretty damn perfect actually.
But I hope this ends up being a TV show. That Family Guy scene is so accurate. I just don't see a reason for having both Aquaman and Namor movies. Especially with the DCEU characterization of Curry.

I feel Namor should follow the route of the Hulk, and show up in others’ movies, not his own, at least for some time. His first appearance should be as a mysterious (sympathetic) villain, with shades of gray, in a Black Panther film, perhaps. And later becoming an ally. I really want to see him interact with the cinematic crew.

It'd actually be cool if he was that for the TV shows or was the character that finally bridged the gap between the TV universe and movie universe.

Namor would be cool, I hope they introduce him soon. There was an easter egg in Iron man 2 about him. Well come on man, spill, what was it?

So far, I think Brian Tee has been the best suggestion here.

A Zachary Quinto that goes on a chicken and rice diet with 3hours of lifting a day for 6 months? I mean Namor kinda looks like Spock. ![](https://s26.postimg.cc/m8f14k0ih/yes.gif)

Doesn't Namor have a swimmer's build rather than a hulking form. That's true. But I think you and I (and now everyone who reads this post) know that or even care. The point it is, he's a big guy and Cena's a big guy, and I don't think Michael Phelps rings Namor.
Michael Phelps would be a great choice if he put on another 10 to 20 pounds of muscle. The only question is can he act?

I wouldn't go that far. The guy is pretty ripped in Olympic shape. ![](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/a0/df/b5/a0dfb59d0b77f8d0698dd2cbbe727794.jpg) ![](https://akns-images.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/2016711/rs_634x1024-160811113648-634.Michael-Phelps-Shirtless-Olympics-Brazil.ms.081116.jpg?fit=inside|900:auto&output-quality=90) Makeup and special effects could change his facial appearance. Again I don't know if he could act like a superhero though. That part would probably be a stretch.

Cena is too big for Namor. An ideal Namor physique would be Skaarsgard in Tarzan.

Daniel Wu looks far too soft. Brian Tee or Rick Yune are way better. Yeah. No on Wu. screenrant.com/actors-who-could-play-namor-the-sub-mariner/Has possibilities Too old at this point. We would expect a good decade out of him Doesn't do it for me No. I like him a lot, but no. Not quite there. Age is a factor. The thing with Namor is his aging is a factor. For a dude who has been kicking around since WWII, he looks pretty amazing. Namor needs a bit of that god-like look Maybe. Outside shot The screen rant pic looks acceptable, but the Wiki pic has too long a face. Trying to see it with the widow's peak, but still no. Way too old His eyebrows freak me out on Supergirl, but this could work. They would do makeup Maybe. Possibilities. Maybe. Not really feeling it, but they could maybe make it work Hmmmm. Not feeling it. Pretty old to be jumping in on a role to last a decade or 2. I really like him as an actor but he's a bit old. I could live with this. 50? We're in Keanu range now. We need 10 yrs, maybe more. This is brushing RDJ problem. If he is being seen as too old at age 53 after a decade in the role, why start with 50 yr old actors? .

Namor would be perfect for a antagonist role in a Black Panther sequel!

Some good actors but most are either the wrong body type, too old, or probably couldn't pull off the character or aquatic scenes.
