I admittingly often get them mixed up with the Aztecs and Mayans (pretty sure they all had giant pyramids). Though Inca ruins do stick out to me a bit more because they were used in the first Tomb Raider game.

I still get them mixed up.

In 2nd century BCE, worship of sun god was as prevalent in India as worship of Shiva and even more than worship of Vishnu.
Before monotheism crept in Zoroastrianism, sun was a very important deity in that religion. Not surprising because there was link between India and Iraq. Mithra is the deity in Zorastrainism that represents sun.
In modern times, Mithra is only deity both famous in Hinduism and Zoroastrianism.

Well lets hope they have stopped with the human Sacrifices which they did back in the day before the Spanish came.
