No I want the 2nd and 3rd place AL West teams to play in the WC Game, I love west coast baseball!! it's a very interesting debate which can go round and round and where you dissect yourself as well as a fan. sure i root for the little guy. but let's say the Phightens do make an improbable run and make it to the WS. do i want another 2008 where they're going up against a dud franchise like the Devil Rays? or get revenge and take down the evil empire? although a Phils/As ((old school Philly)) WS is intriguing

In a 1-game playoff, all bets are off, the idea that "Team X can't beat Team Y in a one-game playoff" goes completely out the window. If I were the Yankees, I'd be nervous to play against the Royals in this scenario.
