Born on August 23, 1929 in Boise City, Oklahoma

American actress and star of the 1950's and 1960's who played Lila Crane/Loomis twice, in Psycho and Psycho II.
Though born in Oklahoma she grew up in Kansas. She was crowned Miss Kansas in 1948 and was the third runner-up in the Miss America contest. Miles moved to Los Angeles in 1950 and landed small roles in television and film, including a minor role as a chorus girl in Two Tickets to Broadway 1951. Miles' first credited film appearance was in The Rose Bowl Story 1952. He big break came with Tarzan's Hidden Jungle 1955 with future husband Gordon Scott.
