Rocket will presumably have spent a couple of years on Earth. He will be more up to date on the latest trends than Quill. He can trash Quill for being out of touch.

I suspect he will be off world for most of Avengers 4 though. At least, I hope. I don't really want to see him hangin with Cap and Stark. That would be awkward and forced.
