Depending on which cut of The Curse of Michael Myers, it's either that film or Halloween 5. If the theatrical cut, then Halloween 5 looks like a masterpiece in comparison. If the Producer's Cut, then H5 is the worst. Not that the Producer's Cut was good, but at least it was coherent.

Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) / Halloween: Resurrection (2002) / Halloween II (2009)

It's gotta be Resurrection. There's nothing nice to say about that one.
Season of the Witch isn't completely terrible. It's got it's moments and a tone that is interesting at least. The problem is that it's not a Halloween sequel, but if it was just a John Carpenter produced horror movie taking place at Halloween then people wouldn't have hated it.

I never saw Resurrection, so I'll take your word for it. I don't even consider the third film a Halloween sequel because it's such a completely different film.

5. Man, what an annoying cast. Even Dr. Loomis is an A hole in it. 6 at least had cool deaths.
The remake is the worst Halloween film, though.

People arguing for III, and people saying it isn't a Halloween sequel. Can't have it both ways.
I saw H20 and it was bad but not terrible. I imagine if I saw Resurrection, that would be my answer.

The remake and sequel were the worst for me, but if we stay with the original series I would say Resurrection and 5 being neck and neck for the title of worst.

Resurrection. It's a guilty pleasure, but ultimately just a bad film.

Resurrection. If you chose otherwise, you're a fool.

Resurrection. (lowest common denominator filmmaking! Michael DIED in H2O, it was the end of the story! resurrection does not exist and made the character Michael into a joke even with the horrible script).
5.
6.
Even both Zombie films the remake and it's sequel were lame.

For me it's a tie between Halloween Resurrection and Rob Zombie's Halloween II.

Resurrection was basically unwatchable to me. The Curse of Michael Myers is also exceedingly awful, but Resurrection marks the franchise's nadir.
