I doubt the pope said that. I just assume it's some shady "news" organization twisting what he actually said etc etc.
bottom line... Heaven/Purgatory/Hell are all official Church doctrine and are unchangeable. I do know this much for certainty.
While I don't know the exact details, I do know this much... not everything he speaks on is infallible teachings as he can still give opinions like everyone else which can be in error.

If an RFS Awards is done for 2018 you'll be a shoo-in for the category of Least Entertaining Troll.

Pope Francis was asked "Where do bad souls go" His reply... โThey are not punished. Those who repent obtain Godโs forgiveness and take their place among the ranks of those who contemplate him, but those who do not repent and cannot be forgiven disappear. A hell doesnโt exist, the disappearance of sinning souls exists.โ

@fjh When you make a claim like that you must link evidence. Sorry, this is a very sloppy attempt to discuss the topic. I agreed. And as an atheist, whenever you find me on the side of mslo79, then you should probably re-evaluate your strategy, as it might be indicative of you having some fundamental flaws in your argument. Matters of โfactโ shouldnโt ever have to be argued. Either something happened, or it didnโt. And in this case, either the Pope said something...OR HE DIDNโT. And burden of proof is on the one making the affirmative claim. Thatโd be you bud!

He's right. But even a broken clock gives the correct time twice a day.
