If that's what gets you through, then you're entitled to those beliefs...
But if you want to share your beliefs publicly, expect them to be challenged with a minimum of tact.
For what it's worth, I know that you've vouchsafed on this forum the fact that you struggle with sadness and feelings of suicide. I found that my sadness (not my suicidal thoughts) subsided to a significant degree when I was able to be honest with myself that life is meaningless and it's ultimately all arbitrary. I stopped struggling with suicidal thoughts and started to be comfortable with them. Now it's the morons who struggle with my suicidal thoughts, not me.
Own your existential ennui and challenge your insecurity.

That's just a God of the Gaps argument (we don't know how something works, therefore God). As someone already pointed out, that's pretty much the premise to an Insane Clown Posse song.

I would say biological evolution has more or less answered that. Or are you asking more in the "what is the meaning of life" type way? There's plenty of secular philosophy going around on that question.
