I saw a similar thread in a different forum, thought I'd get the opinions of people here. Here's the situation:
This is Superman as of the JL movie and Thor w/ Stormbreaker. Both have gone crazy and believe that to save the Earth, humanity and all their creations need to be destroyed. Who poses a bigger threat to humanity?

The truth is its hard to say.
Both of them unleashed would be a horror upon the world. Look at what Superman and Zods fight did to Metropolis. Superman could shoot lasers that could knock down building from afar, and of course Thor has weather powers which would add to the destruction.
Too close to call.

I wanna say Supes, but when you're bringing up the Stormbreaker into this, then I gotta go with Thor.

I personally think it's Thor, due to his combination of massive AOE attacks plus his ability to now Bifrost to anywhere in the world. Also, there's the fact that he has no known weakness.
With Superman, we know that enough radiation can weaken him so humanity has at least some form of weapon against him... though honestly I think he's too fast to get hit with anything substantial anyway. And I guess there's an off chance that someone will find kryptonite.
Anyway, Earth is f*cked either way. Just think that Thor can do it faster and that humanity has a few tools to hurt Superman.

Anyone ever read Irredeemable? It's a story about a hero named the Plutonian (with Superman's power set) going berserk and becoming the ultimate villain. There's a companion series called Incorruptible about a villain who's trying to stop the Plutonian. It's a great read.
The question at hand is a difficult one considering we don't know what Thor is capable of nowadays. I'd lean toward Superman as of this writing.

If the movie is set in the Marvel universe it would be Thor.
If the movie is set in the DC universe it would be Superman.

If the movie is set in the Marvel universe it would be Thor. If the movie is set in the DC universe it would be Superman. Nope, the scenario is set in real modern day Earth.

Thor in the comics is the son of Odin & Gaea so he has power over the elements, including earth
So Thor is pretty incredible. I don't particularly recall Supes has any combat skills

It would all depend who writes its If the writers wants it to be Superman it would be Superman If the writers wants it to be Thor it would be Thor Its that simple I have nothing more to say about this subject.

Thor because he'd use his cosmic connections to annihilate us all in 1 day.
Superman would eventually destroy us, but it'd take a few weeks or months. He'd probably get bored & quit before finished.

I agree that Thor would do more damage but I also remember that if Superman gets pissed enough kryptonite and magic become ineffective aswell.

Probably Superman. He's that quick that he'd be able to cause worldwide destruction before anyone could do much of anything about it.
Nukes can't bring Superman down. I imagine a Nuke could probably bring down Thor...maybe. If the Hulkbuster can punch out the Hulk then I can't see Thor surviving a Nuke.

I don't recall DCEU Superman ever brushing off kryptonite just because he was pissed.
