4 years, $134 mill. Guess he’s happy with his one ring. Much as I loathe him a QB of his caliber should end up with 4-5 rings like Brady.
But, you know....one is cool too.

You know what's cooler than one ring? One ring and $134m!

If Rodgers played for someone who could actually coach, he’d get $200 million.

Worth every penny. Packers live and breath by the talent of him.

Mike McCarthy is one of the worst coaches in football. We disagree on a lot of things but this I will not. He is the most overrated coach in the NFL. And if not the most then in at least the top 3.

After seeing how fucked up this team is and how they have refused to change their stubborn ways these last few years with the same results of letting us down with playoff loss after PO loss, I've given up all hopes and will instead reserve myself to be pleasantly surprised if they make it to another SB.
What in the fuck is wrong with those morons for not building the best team and coaching staff around the best QB in the NFL. And then last year we saw what a real train wreck of a team it was when they stuck with the worst back up behind him instead of bringing in a better QB.
It's like McMoron does not want to keep up the Packers legacy of winning and the Lombardi spirit. I won't shed any tears at all when he leaves the Pack which will hopefully be sooner than later if this keeps up. They really do need to put his job on the line for another SB appearance if they haven't already. Make that Butterball sweat a bit.

Listen to the broadcast on the Sun Night NFL opener on NBC and there is a good chance they will lavish him with praise instead of pointing out how bad he really is.

Like I said on another board Rodgers is a GB icon. Maybe the biggest post-Lombardi. He doesn’t want to be Farve 2.0. Is that worth another possible (stress possible) title, maybe. SB rings are not the total measure of a QB legacy. Is Brad Johnson as good as Joe Namath. Is Jim Plunkett one of the greatest QB’s ever?
But the money don’t hurt either .

The rings argument is stupid to begin with. Just look at people who argue that Michael Jordan is better than LeBron James. The stat that matters to them is MJ has 6 Championships. LeBron has 3 Championships. Those people want to focus on the # of Championships a guy has won yet they choose to ignore somebody like Bill Russell who has 11 rings. If rings were the end all be all then Russell is the GOAT.
In the end, greatness isn't the amount of titles won. It's just used by random people as a way to try and say Player A is better than Player B.

I think we are in the minority. I always hear him praised on the idiot networks ESPN and NFL. I know some die-hard Packers fans and they swear to me that he is a top three coach in the NFL. It is mind blowing. He is terrible in every way. Watch a Packers game. They win in spite of his terrible play calling and game management.

I don't watch ESPN, so maybe that's where I'm missing out, but I've only ever heard him be criticized for those things, and every packers fan I know hates him.

However if the Packers don't get to the Super Bowl this year I think he needs to be canned. It took him too long to fire Capers could be justification enough to can him. In terms of ESPN and NBC and Fox praising him, to me I think it's the sense that if you've won a Super Bowl by any means you're going to get praised by the talking heads. Hell, how long did Jeff Fischer stay employed simply by being in 1 Super Bowl 2 decades ago? If I were to try and go for a new coach of the Packers I would look towards Dabo Swinney if he was willing to leave Clemson. I will say I was hoping that the Packers would have hired Kyle Shannahan when he went to SF.
