This isn’t true.
Actually how many times do Christians bring up gay marriage as opposed to non-Christians whining about Christian views on gay marriage?
Geez you would think a law would shut them up.

I couldn't care less about gay marriage. I'm guessing a promiscuous heterosexual has much more to answer for than a monogamous homosexual when it's time to be judged by God.

You know, I often lament about you saying the dumbest thing that I ever heard.... ....until you do it again! There would be no “whining” about Christian views at all IF Christians didn’t use their views to justify bigotry. Kind of like how there’d be no “whining” about racism from minorities IF there was no institutionalized racism! Why bitch about the people adversely affected by bigoted views “whining” rather than the people actually “whining” in favor of bigoted views? That was a rhetorical question by the way. The answer is because you're a dumbass! (as you seem to affirm almost every time you make a comment on this topic)

If that was the point, then it was made terribly! And that’s both of us giving the benefit of the doubt to someone who frankly doesn’t deserve it.

The Bible says nothing about smoking. I'm guessing the Bible...or at least many parts of it exist solely because someone was...smoking, and not tobacco, either.

While opposition to gay marriage stems mainly from religious people, you are right to assert that not an overwhelming majority of Christians are opposed to gay marriage. Further opposition to gay marriage is linked mainly to republican party and Christianity may not be sole reason for the opposition. Culture/masculinity etc may be reasons too.
So as per above data things have definitely been improving though still there are people who are opposed to it. But in my opinion substantially more people will change their stance in next 20 years.

This isn’t true. Actually how many times do Christians bring up gay marriage as opposed to non-Christians whining about Christian views on gay marriage?Geez you would think a law would shut them up. Since opposition to gay marriage is largely vociferous from religious sects— and you would have to prove that it isn't otherwise—any non-religious person complaining about those Christians that do oppose these views, is only due to prejudice and ignorance that gets projected by these religious fundies. They are rightly whining about bigoted and hypocritical aspect of the religious views, which is understandable, considering the adversity those on the receiving end can face, from those that are purportedly following the accepting and giving nature and word of what Christ represents. Not all Christians will hold these prejudiced views, but they are unfortunately let down by those creeps that do. This is not true either. There were plenty of secular countries against gay marriage with more than a few still not allowing it. The ONLY whining you hear about nowadays is forcing people to provide services for gay marriages among a nearly insignificant number of businesses. Oooh, that sure does sound universal. Even that idiot Trump isn't trying to stop gay marriage. I wish whiners would just come out and admit they want to force religions to change their beliefs. It would make the conversations more interesting than the constant complaint over something the religious had no power to prevent even if they wanted to. Gay marriage is here, be happy about i instead of focusing on your tender, bruised feelings that were hurt by people you don't know and will never meet.

an agenda intended to offend ya
turns out the pure in heart aren't so pure in heart after all.
when every tom dick and mary is coming out of their tax free churches defending their right to call each and every human being they disagree with as being connected to satan's balls.
when in reality they wouldn't know a ball sack if it landed on them at that walmart they're calling god's anointed shopping malls.

What countries are secular that don't have religions within their communities?
While I agree that it is not only religions that may be opposed to gay marriage, religions are copping it because they are the ones that tend to make more of an issue out of it, due to their phony beliefs. Any belief can and will be challenged, if it isn't based on any common sense logic or fact based reasonable grounding. Religions are the biggest cultivators of nonsense.
any government not run by a theology, like the USA, is a secular state. Some big ones like China, Japan, Russia, etc... do not perform them. NO country in Asia except maybe Taiwan has gay marriage based on most recent info I found. Theophobiacs just tend to figus on the stuff they think they don’t need to research at all.
