The summer of 1959, nearly 60 years ago today, Vern ran to the treehouse to ask his friends that question. Vern, Teddy, Chris and Gordy ventured out around noon on a Saturday on their quest. They returned early Sunday morning day before Labor Day somewhat four very changed individuals after their experience.

I don't know what it says about me that when I first read that line, I instantly thought of Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood.
